An opportunity to present our vision
This interview was a privileged opportunity to share our history, our values, and our commitment to environmentally-friendly viticulture. We talked about the specificities of our terroirs at Cravant-les-Coteaux, the richness of our cuvées and the story of the estate’s takeover by Bernard Gault.

“In the heart of the renowned Chinon appellation, in the picturesque village of Cravant-les-Coteaux, the Domaine des Bernard flourishes. Passionate about the Loire, Bernard took over this estate in 2022, and has made it shine with his singular vision. With the support of Nicolas Reau, a talented winemaker from Clos des Treilles, and Bernard Pelé, an experienced field man with whom he has already collaborated, he crafts wines that celebrate the fruit and reveal the authenticity of the terroir. Faithful to a respectful approach to nature, the domaine cultivates its vines organically and favors natural winemaking. As an added bonus, the vineyard also enchants with its setting: visitors can stay in a gîte offering a panoramic view over the vines, an experience that blends flavors and scenic splendor.”
